Nigerian thespian Zainab Bukky Ajayi is dead. According to www.vanguardngr.com family sources on Wednesday broke the news that she had died. While the main cause of her death remains unclear, unconfirmed sources claim that her death was the result of heart failure.
Her first foray into acting was in the immensely popular 1970's television series 'Village Headmaster'. From where she went on to star in many homemade movies beyond count with some of the most memorable ones being 'Diamond Ring', 'Witches', 'Checkmate', 'Mother of Judge', 'Thunderbolt', 'The Oath', 'Final Whistle', ;Elastic Limit' and 'Indecent Girl' to mention a few.
In her career she starred along side a daunting assemblage of A-listers including Richard Mofe Damijo, Zack Orji, LIz Benson, Patrick Doyle, Larry Kodsweat, Sola Fosudo, Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey, Jennifer Ossai, Tony One Week, Andy Chukwu, Obot Etuk, Camila Mberekpe, Shola Shobowale, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Ejike Asiegbu, Saint Obi, Grace Amah, Jim Iyke , Rita Okonkwo and many more.
She has since been buried according to Muslim rites and customs. She was 82. She will be missed.
